Group dining in Vieux-Lyon
Family gatherings, tables of friends, company lunches: Aux Trois Maries welcomes your groups in one of the oldest bouchons in the city, in the heart of the Renaissance quarter.

The address
Bringing your guests together in a real bouchon
Finding a table for a group in Vieux-Lyon is often a puzzle: the rooms are small, the crowds heavy, and not every address knows how to host several guests without sacrificing the cooking. Aux Trois Maries is an exception, on rue des Trois-Maries, steps from Saint-Jean cathedral.
Across two floors, the house can host a birthday table as well as a seminar lunch, in the setting of a historic bouchon — chequered floor, wall slates, white linen and burgundy napkins. The heritage is real, the service attentive, and everyone stays elbow to elbow in the convivial spirit of the Lyonnaise mâchon.
The spaces
Two rooms, up to 65 seats
The ground floor and the independent upper floor combine to fit your group. Small table or large reception, each space keeps the character of a Vieux-Lyon bouchon.

The occasions
What we host
A group meal is never quite the same twice. Family gatherings, christenings and birthdays, reunions with friends, end-of-year meals, company lunches and dinners, seminars from the business district: the house adapts to the tone and the tempo of your event.
For more intimate tables, a standard reservation is all you need. Beyond about ten guests, it's best to let us know in advance: together we settle the room, the menu and the pace of service so the day runs without a hitch.

At the table
Lyonnaise cooking for your parties
Hosting a group doesn't mean cutting corners on the plate. Our group menus draw on the house-made Lyonnaise repertoire: soufflé pike quenelle, brioche sausage with grenaille potatoes, andouillette, onion gratinée, alongside charcuterie and cheeses from recognised affineurs.
The Menu Lyonnais, in several courses, is designed to be shared around a large table. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are arranged at booking, and a children's menu lets families come as one. Just flag your preferences ahead of time.

In fine weather
A group meal on the terrace
From late spring to autumn, Vieux-Lyon lives outdoors. Our cobbled terrace, shaded by the lime tree of place de la Baleine, welcomes groups at sunset, away from the flow of rue Saint-Jean.
It's the ideal setting for a relaxed team lunch or a birthday dinner with friends, in a pedestrian lane of the Renaissance quarter. Terrace seats go fast in high season, so booking ahead remains the best instinct for a group.
The steps are simple. For up to about ten guests, book as you would a standard table, stating the exact number and arrival time. A call the day before, or the same morning for lunch, is usually enough — at weekends and in high tourist season, allow more notice.
For a larger group, a special occasion or the privatisation of a room, use our quote request: we get back to you with the right set menu, the available room and the flow of service. The phone remains the safest channel to flag an allergy, a pushchair, a wheelchair or a timing constraint.
Aux Trois Maries is open Tuesday to Sunday, lunch and dinner, and closed on Monday. Book early for popular dates — end-of-year celebrations, spring bank holidays and summer weekends fill up weeks ahead in Vieux-Lyon.
